Keyless
half-sets in the key of D are made from either African Blackwood
or Mopane timbers. The ferrules, slides and bends are made
from brass and the mounts are made from alternative ivory.
The bellows is made from unstained red oak and the bag is
made from cowhide.
UPGRADING
The keyless half-set can be easily upgraded to a "full-set"
by purchasing the tenor, middle and bass regulators. If
you elect to purchase the half-set without a bass regulator
mount, it can be upgraded to a 3/4 set by purchasing the
tenor and middle regulators.
Should you require keys in your playing style, the chanter
can be shipped back and keys added with an additional fee.
The
Upton pipe-case is included with all orders.
D-Chanter
Comes with key-blocks to accomodate 5 keys and can be upgraded.
Main Stock
The main stock of the keyless half-set comes with a bass
regulator mount. The main stock is hollow. Open request,
the bass regulator mount can be left out of her design.
Drones
The tenor, baritone and bass drone are included. Each drone's
design are impressions of each other.
